I’ve heard there are more and more people building and buying custom motorcycles nowadays. I can sort of see why this trend is steadily growing in the industry.

When I was first bitten by the motorcycle bug there was a huge variety of models on offer but no customs to choose from. Harley Davidson, Norton and BMW were all on offer but there was never many people building custom bikes. I suppose the motorcycle world was a lot smaller back then (showing my age here am I not?) and most people who did own one saw it almost as a way of life and were in to alternative lifestyles.
